Father and son team, Dave and Mitch Bull completed an epic journey around the coast and borders of Spain on motorbikes, raising money and awareness for the AECC and the Samaritans in Spain.
The 24 day challenge covered almost 400 kilometres each day without using motorways and sticking as close as possible to the coast and the borders with France and Portugal. Each night they looked for, and stayed in friendly campsite’s where they could pitch their tents for free and cook an evening meal on their camping gas stove. With just 5€ each per day for food and drink, to keep costs to a minimum, it slightly restricted their menu choices! They visited most of Spain’s biggest cities and along the way they met up with groups and local contacts who had helped them along the way with such a sizable challenge.
Dave and Mitch set off on their journey on Tuesday the 27th of September and returned home, via the AECC office, on Thursday the 20th of October.
Maria and the Pink Ladies/Panthers are extremely grateful for being chosen as one of the charities that Dave and Mitch picked to do this amazing, and probably very tiring, fund raiser for. Well done boys!
